Q: Can I install my own OS using an ISO?
A: Not at the moment. We would have to deal with Microsoft/RHEL licenses and potential copyright issues.
Q: Can I run an IRC client/server/bot from my VPS?
A: No. The data center that we rent servers from does not allow IRC at all.
Q: Am I allowed to run a seedbox or download/seed torrents?
A: Yes, so long as the torrent content you are downloading/seeding is 100% legal. (eg. Debian DVD)
Q: When will IPv6 addresses be available?
A: Hopefully sometime before the end of 2012.
Q: Do you offer DDoS or DoS protection?
A: Not at the moment. Maybe in the future we will.
Q: Are game servers such as Minecraft and source engine servers allowed?
A: Yes. However, excessive disk and/or CPU usage may result in a suspension of your VPS.
Q: I am unable to login to my VPS with the password that I provided.
A: Login to SolusVM and reinstall the operating system. You will be provided with a new password to login with.
Q: Do you backup VPS’ to a SAN or another server?
A: No. We feel that it is the users responsibility to backup their data.
